Terms & Conditions
The rules governing use of PrintQly, partner print shops, orders, payments, refunds, documents, advertisements and disputes.
1. Acceptance and scope
These Terms and Conditions govern use of printqly.com and the PrintQly services. By accessing or using the platform, a user agrees to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and any service-specific terms displayed at the time of use.
PrintQly may operate as a technology and coordination platform connecting customers with independent partner print shops. PrintQly does not itself operate the printing machinery of partner shops.
2. Role of PrintQly and partner shops
The selected print shop is the party responsible for carrying out the printing work, finishing, packing and any delivery that the shop has agreed to provide. PrintQly provides the digital interface, discovery, workflow, communication and related technology.
Partner shops are independent businesses. Their equipment, materials, employees, production decisions, operating hours, service capacity and local practices are not controlled by PrintQly merely because the shop is listed on the platform.
3. Shop pricing and offers
Individual print shops determine their own printing prices according to their location, materials, equipment, specifications, quantity and commercial decisions. PrintQly does not set each shop's underlying print price.
Offers, discounts and promotional terms may be created by a shop or displayed from an advertising or promotional arrangement. PrintQly does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, duration or commercial performance of a shop's offer unless PrintQly has expressly stated otherwise. Customers should review the applicable shop terms before confirming an order.
4. Printing quality, specifications and defects
The customer is responsible for reviewing the uploaded document, selected specifications, page count, orientation, colour choice, paper/material selection and other instructions before confirming the request.
Because printing is performed by partner shops, PrintQly does not control the physical printing process and, to the extent permitted by law, is not responsible for ordinary production defects, colour differences, material differences, finishing defects, machine faults, operator errors or other print-quality issues caused by the partner shop.
Nothing in this clause removes a customer's mandatory statutory rights. A customer should report a print-quality problem promptly so that the matter can be reviewed with the responsible shop.
5. Payment
Where PrintQly presents a direct-to-shop payment method such as the shop's UPI QR, UPI ID or cash-after-confirmation option, the customer pays the selected print shop directly. PrintQly does not hold those funds as the payment recipient.
If a customer sends money to the wrong UPI ID, wrong QR, wrong shop, wrong account, or a payment fails or is not received by the shop, PrintQly is not a custodian of those funds and cannot guarantee recovery. Customers must verify the recipient details before authorising a direct payment.
Where PrintQly introduces any future payment gateway or collects a platform charge itself, that transaction will be governed by the payment method's displayed terms and applicable law.
6. Cancellation and refunds
A refund or cancellation may be available when printing has not yet commenced, subject to the order status and the responsible shop's applicable process.
Once printing has commenced or the work has been completed, the order is generally not eligible for a discretionary refund because customised printing may already have consumed paper, ink, material, labour or production capacity.
This policy does not exclude refunds, replacements, remedies or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights arising from applicable consumer law, unauthorised transactions or a service that materially fails to conform to what was agreed.
7. Delivery and collection
Where a shop offers delivery, the shop or its delivery provider is responsible for the physical delivery. Delivery times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed.
PrintQly is not the carrier merely because the order is visible on the platform. To the extent permitted by law, PrintQly is not responsible for delay, loss, misplacement, incorrect address, failed delivery attempt or damage occurring during a partner's delivery process, while any non-excludable statutory rights remain unaffected.
8. Customer documents and confidential material
Customers must upload only documents they are authorised to reproduce and must not use the platform to print or distribute unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, threatening, obscene, defamatory or otherwise prohibited material.
A document may need to be made available to the selected shop for fulfilment. Customers should therefore select a trusted shop and should delete documents from available storage when they are no longer required.
PrintQly is not able to guarantee that a partner shop or any person with authorised physical access to a printed document will never misuse information. However, PrintQly will not knowingly authorise unrelated use of customer documents and will maintain reasonable safeguards required by applicable law.
9. Intellectual property and brand protection
The PrintQly name, logo, visual identity, website design, original text, software, databases, graphics and other protected materials belong to PrintQly or the respective rights holder, except where third-party rights apply.
Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, republish, scrape, sell, licence, frame, impersonate, create confusingly similar branding, or use PrintQly's name, logo, trade dress or other protected material for commercial or misleading purposes without written permission.
Unauthorised use may lead to civil or criminal remedies where available under applicable law, including intellectual-property and other applicable legislation. Nothing in these Terms creates an automatic criminal offence where the law does not provide one.
10. Advertisements and third-party content
PrintQly may display advertisements, shop promotions and third-party links. Advertisers and partner businesses are responsible for the products, services, claims, prices, offers and fulfilment they provide.
PrintQly does not adopt every statement in an advertisement as its own representation. However, where applicable law imposes duties on an e-commerce entity or advertising platform, PrintQly will comply with those duties.
11. User accounts and security
Users must provide accurate information, maintain the confidentiality of their credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. Accounts may be suspended or restricted where necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, legal compliance or protection of users and the platform.
12. Prohibited use
Users must not attempt to bypass security, interfere with the website, access another person's account or documents, upload malicious code, misuse shop or customer information, submit fraudulent orders, manipulate ratings or reviews, impersonate another person, use the platform for unlawful printing, or exploit technical weaknesses.
13. Platform availability
PrintQly may modify, suspend or discontinue features for maintenance, security, upgrades, legal requirements or operational reasons. PrintQly does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, uninterrupted shop availability or that every shop will be available in every location.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PrintQly is not liable for losses caused solely by the independent acts or omissions of a partner shop, including printing defects, shop-side price decisions, shop-side offers, direct payments to a shop, shop-side delivery, or unauthorised acts by a third party.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted, including mandatory consumer rights, statutory duties, fraud, wilful misconduct or other non-excludable liability.
15. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, a user agrees to indemnify PrintQly against claims, losses, costs and reasonable expenses arising from the user's unlawful use of the platform, infringement of another person's rights, fraudulent activity, unauthorised document submission, or breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by PrintQly's own non-excludable legal responsibility.
16. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in India. The parties intend that courts having competent jurisdiction in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, will hear disputes where such selection is legally permitted.
Nothing in this clause prevents a consumer from using a mandatory consumer forum, regulator, statutory authority or other remedy whose jurisdiction cannot lawfully be contracted away.
17. Changes to the Terms
PrintQly may update these Terms when the service, law, partner model or platform changes. The current version will be published on the website with an updated effective date. Important changes may also be communicated through the platform where appropriate.
18. Severability and entire understanding
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to operate to the extent permitted by law. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any service-specific terms displayed to the user, describe the principal rules governing use of the platform.
19. Contact and grievances
Questions, complaints and service grievances should first be raised through the PrintQly support/contact channel so that the relevant record can be identified and the matter can be routed to the responsible party.
The customer-facing contact email currently configured as the site's default is hello@printqly.com; the live Contact page and its administrative settings should be treated as the operational source for current contact details.
